Katie Lowes

Katie Lowes is a household name for her portrayal of "Scandal" for ABC But her passion for theatre began in childhood as a love of theatre. Lowes was born on the streets of Queens and was a very active kid who loved entertaining family members and friends. Lowes did not lose her passion for performance as an adult, like many other entertainers. Lowes was even more focused and determined to pursue her passion and enrolled in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. The year 2002 saw her demonstrate her talent with the starring role in "Four Saints from Mexico" which was a Tisch production. Then, she'd get her degree to pursue a career in. Lowes was a standout in several roles such as the role she played on the "Rescue Me " pilot" (FX between 2004 and 2011). For the vast majority of her career Lowes was a nanny who looked after the son actress Connie Britton. Lowes was able to get the part of Quinn Perkins for Shonda Rhimes' political drama "Scandal", (ABC, 2012until). Her first impression was that she instantly connected with the character, since her name as a middle child, Quinn, is also identical to her name. Lowes was a well-known face and celebrity thanks to the drama. She also met Adam Shapiro who she married in the year 2012.
