Deanna Russo

Kari Samantha, an American actor and singer who is best known for playing the role of Kari in the television series "Sliders". Her debut album was her first album of studio work "Shiny" on the 29th of January, 1999. Wuhrer is originally from Connecticut. She started singing at the age of a child, and performed in nightclubs once she became a teenager. She began studying acting in the Wooster school at 13 years old. After that, she began enrolling at different colleges in order to study acting. Wuhrer was first seen on screen in the year 1986, with the romantic-drama movie 'Fire with Fire. A few years later, she made her debut as an actor on television, portraying the role of Joanie. Over the course of her long career of more than three decades she's earned around 80 credits in TV and film. Her appearances have been in numerous mainstream films. She most people consider her to be the B-movie Queen because of her large filmography. Wuhrer was also a model and before that, an MTV VJ. In 2001, she won an award for the Best Actress Award for her comedy film Do It for Uncle Manny' at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
