Hayley Orrantia, she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is primarily the performer. Music was always her first love. When she was 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to begin professional training. At 13, she began creating songs. Her debut album in the age of 14. It hasn't turned to the past ever since. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic roots. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite using English only and never lived in Mexico. She strives to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded is a good illustration. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Her YouTube video was selected and she received four "yeses", or votes by the judges at The Seattle audition. She initially auditioned in the show "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition for the remaining music. They were eliminated at the final show.
