Lee has had success all levels, including Standford University earning 9 wins during her collegiate career and spending 17 weeks as the top Women's Amateur player throughout the World. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native born in the month of August in 1998. James, her father James started teaching her to play golf when she was five years old. As a young girl She began competing in tournaments, and within 4 years, she had was awarded 50 Junior championships. The 2014 US Women's Open was her first major cut. In her 15th year and her dad was a caddie for her. She was invited by sponsors to play at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, but she missed the cut. Lee played for the USA at the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. In the year 2016, she enrolled at Stanford University and became its most decorated athlete at the time. Over the next three years she earned nine individual championships. Lee left Stanford University to turn pro in 2019. Her amateur playing career included seventeen weeks of she was the World Amateur Golf Ranking leader. Lee was awarded an award called the Mark H. McCormack award for the 2019 season after becoming the most popular amateur. Lee was a top amateur who achieved four albatrosses and four holes-in-1. The first time she played she was a top-10 player with two finishes. She placed 7th during the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee made an LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022. The winner devoted the win to her late grandfather Min. "He was always called me a champion, and he always believed in me."
